Requirements and Special Notes for eBooks and eChapters
Minimum system requirements:
- Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Mac OS X 10.3 or above
- At least 280 MB RAM, a 600 mHz processor, and 110 MB of hard drive space
- 1024x768 screen resolution or larger
Software requirements:
eBooks and eChapters can be viewed by using one of the free readers listed below.
*AspenLaw Studydesk Software Reader is not currently available for the Macintosh Operating System.
Be sure to check the format of the eBook/eChapter you purchase to know which reader you will need. After purchasing your eBook or eChapter you will be given instructions on where and how to download your free reader.
Download requirements:
Due to the size of eBooks, a high-speed Internet connection (cable modem, DSL, LAN) is required for download stability and speed. Your connection can be wired or wireless.
Being online is not required for reading an eBook after successfully downloading it. You must only be connected to the Internet during the download process.
Special Notes:
- eBooks do not include CD's, DVD's or Passcodes. If the book package you are buying comes with a CD's, DVD's or Passcodes, and you need it, you should buy the print version.
- Most eBooks and eChapters can only be downloaded one time and only to one computer. After purchasing, to see if your eContent file can be accessed on more than one computer, contact support at 888-886-0801 or email mbsdirect@customerdirect.com.
- Do not download your eBook or eChapter to shared or lab computers.
- eBook and eChapters sales do not qualify for the MBS Buyback program.
- Once activated, all eBook and eChapter sales are final. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.
